Why this hall

Because a good photograph of a car is never just the car. It needs a little weather, a little timing, and a beam of light that happened to pass by.

How I shoot

• Natural light as much as possible; the hour around sunset is best
• Keep the surroundings, skip the spotless studio look
• Group every twelve frames into one series
